in my neighborhood the coyotes are plentiful enough and bold enough to be seen regularly in daylight. And I don't live in the sticks
as for eating them, well I guess it would all be in the preparation. I would start with finding a cuisine that has a history of cooking dog meat, and use its recipes as a start. heh, if things went *** over teakettle bad I for damn sure would be sniping them down for food - two fold reasoning, 1 - cheap protein, and 2 - less competition for rabbits/squirrels/etc.
