thumper, it appears the gun you picked up is and early to mid 90's Sterling by looking at the frame (single screw for the grip handle). I also noticed you have a squared off fore-grip, does that fore-grip have a velocity adjustment hole in it? I have a Sterling with the single screw for the grip handle but mine has a rounded fore-grip and there is no adjustment hole on mine and I was just wondering if you got lucky enough to have the newer fore-grip to make the velocity adjustment easier.
