It's not quite as smooth or refined as the G6r. However, that could be a lot in the tuning. At one time I was teching 5 G6rs for the team. I haven't spent much time with the Impulse. I think it's more of a collectors marker than a full time use marker because of the fear of wear and not having parts readily available. The impulse was ahead of its time and if given a better opportunity I'm sure the aftermarket would have made it a much more refined and tunable marker by now.
