People used stone tumblers, and bingo tumblers. I had a device that would spin tubes for me. yes... 1 tube (10 rounds) at a time!

We all did it in the 80s, but honestly I don't know if it really helped. It was very gimmicky time of paintball. We did all sorts of dumb things. Paintball was entirely word-of-mouth.

It was around 1990 when we all stopped doing it. I don't remember if it was because we realized it didn't help... or paint got better... or we all started buying semi-autos, and didn't need to aim regardless.
