The problem comes down to the inside of the tube is the same shape as the outside of the tube. The reeded tube is the same on the inside as the outside. The hex tube will be the same way.
As an interesting side note, we might be able to use .875 x .032 wall hex tubing, and solder in the appropriate size "liner" tubing to get us to the appropriate inner diameter.
That's what I was just thinking when you said that. So if you got like 0.875" ID, you could just put that on the inside. This is giving me all types of awesome ideas.
