| Odd that they would be in so tight unless the previous owner loctited them in....There really isn't a whole lot to worry about in an electro that you wouldn't worry about in a mech. I doubt you could harm the eyes themselves with the vibration of tapping in a torx bit. If you're really worried you could pull the board or take of the grip frame before you start working on it. I guess the solenoid may be a source of concern as well if you're really pounding it but those are also pretty easy to remove. I guess if it was me I'd strip it down to bare minimums and work on the cover screws from there. |
