Get a punch or something similar, tap out the pin that hold the trigger in place, match the new one, and then reinsert the pin.

That's all.

Just be sure to tap the pin in the right direction...it is a one way pin meaning it only comes out in one direction. Sorry, but I can't recall which direction. Someone on here will be able to point you in the right direction, just not me.

anything small enough to knock the pin loose will work. Just be careful not to gouge the frame.

How hard is the pin to knock out? Are they in there well or just enough?

They're quite snug. I'd recommend getting an appropriately sized punch, though. They're not expensive at all, and if you buy the right one it will be indented on the end so it doesn't slip off and gouge the frame. Use many small, light taps, just go slowly and you won't break anything.

If you use a screwdriver or a nail file or any other tool not intended for the job, you're likely (or in most cases, guaranteed) to slip and scratch it all up.

I'd say just use a wire brad nail.

EDIT: or finish nail might be better.
