I missed the whole period when AGD was really busy coming out with new stuff beyond the classic valves. Getting back in with an x-valve was alright.

I have a solution from home depot Crown Bolt makes a nylon spacer 3/16 OD x 115 ID, 1 inch long you can slightly bevel one end and hammer it into the classic sear. I then used a drill press to slightly open the bore to permit the RT pro pin to smoothly rotate. Next I trimmed the spacer to the proper 1/4" width for the body. 2, #10 brass flat washers were then placed on both sides and the pin was threaded in. It works perfectly! |

I gave it a smidgen of red synthetic grease on the pivot pin and unless it gets run in a sandstorm, I don't see it wearing much at all I think it was $1.29 for 2, 1 inch spacers a clever man could make 8 from that stock. |
