You would need a reg that could operate at high pressure...a fatty most likely would not work. Mags tend to disagree with anything below 600psi...regardless of the valve. You also have to consider that all velocity adjustment would be done through that reg...

I have always wanted an adapter like that one. I'd buy one if they were for sale.

Still enjoying that mag? Can't wait to see the powdercoat

Thanks for the definition, but my question was directed towards the very, very small number.

cps/bps doesn't matter. Three?

Ya know, I keep hearing that but I think its a myth regardless of what Im told. I run a stock valve, spacer kit, stock bolt, Diamond labs hurricane reg body, AKA cyclone on/off with a bencmark double trigger frame all fed from a AA armegheddon and get 13bps+ with no shoot down all @ 450-475 psi

i purchased the mag in question, i have a bps counter and am a mag whore. i will tell you guys my opinion of the setup once i have one.

its most likely going to end up getting split up, valve and stab for a pump mag, and the hyperframe on my tac-one.

I was under the impression the choke point in the classic valve was the on/off & the passages to/from it, not the reg.
