Apparently, I can't have a mag without a field strip screw
Occasionally, I see a mag with some common cap or button head screw where the field strip screw goes. Some odd frame builds actually need that. I had not really thought a lot about it.
I was cramming stuff together on a new build and put a black button head in there to hold the valve until a field strip screw came in the mail. I fired the build a little to check for leaks and sticking and straightened a few things out.
I got the field strip screw in the mail and immediately put it in. I felt relieved. All of the parts are in stainless and various ano colors or just raw aluminum, but NOW it looked soo much better. I was surprised it made that much difference to me.

You have issues bro! lol. Glad it works for you!. I'm actually the opposite. I have gotten away from FS screws on a few of my builds on purpose.
