Red Loctite cures anaerobically (in the absence of oxygen, like in the microscopic gap between the threaded parts). If you've used too much and it seeps out around the edges, it will stay wet forever. You can just clean the wet stuff up with acetone and call it done, I suspect when you try to unscrew your bolts you'll find them on there pretty permanently...

Yea, if it didn't cure and is still removable use blue, it will save you a headache down the road....

Just cleaned off the wet red loctite. Going to try blue and place the body in a anaerobic jar for good measure ! I wasted a week trying to wait for this to dry!!

You shouldnt need to, if you tighten it down it will dry up no problem what so ever. Ive never had to force it to dry.
