Converting a Left/Right Barrel to Centerfeed

My google fu is weak, apparently. Over on Simonized, Evil was talking about how he notched a left/right barrel to turn it into a centerfeed. Does anybody have a guide/pic/walk through of such? I'm doing a pistol build and I rather just convert one of my current shorties rather than hunt down a short centerfeed. Any input appreciated.

You just need to use a drill or dremel to put a notch in one of the L/R channels for the twist lock pin to rest in. Figure out which channel allows the feed hole to line up vertically and put the notch directly on the opposite side.

ive seen some people get creative. some guy used jb weld and filled in a slot and milled the other slot over to where the vertical hole would be.
