Value? and L10?

So I saw an ad for this automag:

Person said they original poured $1500 into it (highly doubt looks like a classic mag). I don't think that is a L10 bolt is it?

So how much should I be paying for this?

not level X, the barrel is kewl, and probably the most expensive part, but the bore size is unknown, the expansion chamber is neat as well, but they are always sold cheap on e-bay because you don't need it and it's heavy, but I put them on 75% of my MAGS because they are kewl, so I would suggest $200 for the barrel tip and expansion chamber alone, if you are planning to keep those parts

If the solid purple is ano, it might be worth $200 shipped altogether. If the purple is paint, it is worth about $100 altogether. The splash tip is probably worth $40 or $50 to someone looking to complete a set. If you don't want the tip, I would stick closer to $80 until I found out what the purple is.

That is definitely not a level 10 bolt.

I am skeptical that this cost $1500 to begin with, but anyway that is irrelevant because they don't go for anywhere near that price now. Mags in good working condition generally start around $100 or less. This one has an interesting paint job, a couple of cool aftermarket barrels, and some kind of aftermarket regulator nut. The expansion chamber and hardline are kind of interesting, but a lot of players today would do away with those along with the braided line coil and just run HPA. I would guess present value for the whole package to be $200 tops, but I think $150 is closer to the mark.

Based on the chipped ASA, I assume paint.

I would agree with Spider. Also agree that it looks like it may be painted due to chips on vert ASA, frame and rail. If painted its worth a whole lot less. I've seen rails, Asa's, and some of the other parts colored, but never seen a solid anodized frame like that. All the ones I have seen are splash patterns.

And the barrel is only worth $30-45.

The finish is still hanging pretty tough around the chips. Powder coat maybe?

That green bumper is pretty odd.

Anyhoo, you can see it wouldn't matter how much was spent on it originally, around here at least.

OK, thanks guys the guy wants 125, local deal. I think is throwing in a seal kit and some sort of electric hopper. I will try to pick it up and flip it to fund the L10 and ule body
