LVL 10 bolt too big?

I tried installing a LVL 10 on a valve that I have, buuuuut, the bolt's diameter is to large for the black powerfeed classic body. I have a LVL 7 blot that will go into to the breach area of the body but the LVL 10 bolt catches on the inner body ring and won't go into the breach.

Anyone had this issue before with the LVL 10 mod?? I guess i'm gonna have to trade it off just found it weird.

I've never heard of that before. The bolt lip diameter should be about the same. Try to drop the bolt in without the spring and valve to see if it still catches...

When the LX came out I think I remember this being a potential issue. Solution is to gently (of course) sand down the bolt. Use some fine grit sandpaper and wet sand it till it does fit.

that was the first thing I tried to do.

I may do that Chuna or I might just buy another body. It was just weird.

umm is your barrel in the body with you put it in??? I had a problem when a .685 barrel was in it. I had to get a little bit honed off the barrel to get it to work.

the lvl 10 has a barrel seal region on it.

you can see it if you look close enough, there is a lip on the front of the bolt where it swells about 5 thousandths an inch. it is intended to further reduce blockback and seal the bolt better to the breach of the gun.

i was having bolt stick from that in my RT automag classic, so i simply stuck it on a lathe and turned off the extra.

or, you could always drill out the body ring ... maybe ...

So maybe sand the body then since you value the bolt over the body.

It wont need much.

Guys, this is right in the trouble shooting guide in the instructions (which I can't get to since I'm sitting in a hotel in W. Palm Beach, FL). So from memory: The ring inside the body may have developed a bur that is causing your bolt to not fit. The solution is to sand the ring with a fine grit sand paper until the bolt drops in. This happened when I tried to put a level 10 in my Minimag. Sanded the ring a bit and the bolt dropped right in.
