It can, but the geometry is all wrong up near the pivot. The Benchy frames have a cutout that the trigger rod rests in, and the idea is that the trigger rides that cutout giving you a slightly longer, slightly softer trigger pull. An Intelliframe trigger, or a classic double trigger doesn't have that cutout, and I had a heck of a time trying to do exactly what you are describing. I ended up cutting a custom trigger.

You need an Intelliframe. It's the AGD double trigger frame in aluminum. It will take classic double triggers. Airgun Designs - Intelliframe They are very well made, and they come in shiny and black.
