re-anno something black, black?

so, I have a few t8's that have some wear that has removed the anno. looking to have them re-blackened. Total of 6 pieces need to be done.

Will this require then to be stripped, or can they just be re-dipped?

Any idea who can/will do this, and an idea of the cost?

They will need to be stripped as anodizing isn't as simple as just a dip.

I don't reccomend it. I suggest using them with the wear and tear they have. Stripping anodizing is like the epitome of "wear" on a gun as it removes a bit of material all around. Not worth it IMO and throws tolerances off.

If you were going to do something fancy, that's another story. To just anodize them black which will probably NOT be as robust as the original ano and will wear off all over again pretty quickly..I'd recommend against it.

Spend the cash on more paint or mags

I second this motion. Can never have too much ammo ready at your disposal.

You could always powder coat them.
