| www.Axial-Photography.com | '04 Viking Issues
Posted this on AKAOG but thought I would put it here as well. Just picked up an '04 Viking. It's complete but I was told that it's leaking air and might have a trigger switch issue. It just came in today and while I don't have any air, the battery in it was good. When I turned it on, the green light on the back flashed once, then twice, then three times all the way up to 8. When I pulled the trigger, it did nothing. I pulled the trigger switch and cleaned what looked like some built up paint and gun off it, then turned the trigger screw in about a quarter of a turn till I could tell it made contact. Now, when I turn it on, it flashes till I pull the trigger, than it stays a steady green regardless of how many times I pull the trigger or where the bolt sits. The board is a Pandora V1. I'm going to clean it well and then re-lube it, but don't have any AKA lube. Is there a commercial product I can use in place of the AKA Lube that I can find locally? I've heard transmission fluid is the same thing. Thanks in advance! Duke |

What does the Pandora manual say? What you described sounds normal for an aftermarket board. Does the led change when you block the eyes? I replaced my Pandora board with a WAS board because they use colored leds. It makes setting the board and solving problems like this a lot easier. Just use air tool oil. |

I would suggest reading the manual. It should provide all the info you need. http://www.paintballtrader.com/Xcart...cs/pandora.pdf I don't see an explanation by just browsing through it but I'm sure the answer is in there. I would double check the settings on the board as well. Vikings like their stock settings. |

Well, it's shooting great. Speeds over five or six rounds were between 292 and 297 once I adjusted the Sidewinder just a hair. Still has a slight leak that sounds like the ram. I pulled it and cleaned it yesterday, but it's still there. Any ideas? Anything to look at closer? |
