Ah, I guess it does help to read the manual before slapping it onto a bow. Thanks for the advice.

Hah, yeah I remember that! A couple of weeks later I wound up picking the kit (without the bow, gah what a mistake). Good to now have a face to associate with the account. Maybe if we get enough owners together we should do a airow gun only game...

If it wasn't for that Avatar, I wouldn't of remembered it was you. That shirt makes you memorable.

Yeah, I picked the kit without the bow too. Definitely was worth reading the manual. When I put it the used one on my recuve, it was only shooting like 140 FPS. (My recurve was a dinky cheap thing.)

I got my nice big compound that you saw, and I'm still toppin up around 220 FPS. If I could get my draw length back from 31.5 ( I think) to the 33-34 the bow had been set at, it only shoots about 240.

I found its a lot easier to draw and maneuveur the purposefully 'shorted' length. Yes, it goes against standard archery logic, but in paintball everything needs adaption!

So question, do these use air(12 grams, CO2, HPA) or does the bow compress air for the shot?

Then couldn't you just use a higher lb bow for a higher velocity?

My bow is set to 60lbs. That is as high as it goes. I am only 120-125lbs. (Can't remember)

Sadly, my scrawny arms barely agree with 60lbs, let alone more. The draw length I can't really make longer (Though if I did, it would make it shoot faster.)

These look soooo cool, and utterly impractical for use at a paintball field. Hell, I can't even hardly hit anybody with a friggin paintball gun. I'd sit in the deadbox even more than I do now if I tried using one of these.

Half the fun of owning one is talking about it. The other half is scaring newbs.

Horrible impractical. But INCREDIBLY satisfying.

I had someone chasing me, and I went around a solid wall bunker, drew, and waited. He took the corner shooting, hosing me down with an auto. I fired my one shot. We got each other out. But I got so much more out of it then he did. So satisfying :P
