Well, I can make them just wondering if it would do the same thing. Experience with flint sticks makes me think that the spark would go out before leaving the barrel if it starts towards the back, but who knows.

Why? It wouldn't do anything. All that is coming out of the barrel at that point is just random gasses. The propane was already burned. By a spark in fact.

I have a Ti Boomstick. It does this. The funny thing was it is a 2006 one. They were marketing it saying they fixed the sparking thing. Though mine still shoots neat little blue sparks. I would like to try a one-piece Titanium barrel.

Hm..the amount of air in any marker is very well metered. You could probably find the LEL for something you could stuff in there for a nice afterburner effect.
