you may be able to get away with just making the hole to the size of od. just as if your going to press it in. then try threading it in.

True, but I could see trying to thread aluminum w/ aluminum being a mess for both the metal removal and the anodized finish of each piece, the thing is im looking at making multiple pieces and selling them, so here's what I'm thinking, it should work...



Theoritically, machining the hole oversized and press fitting a piece of delrin which could be tappered before the fit if necessary, then threading the feedtube into that will ensure a good tight fit w/o blemishing the anno job of eithe piece, so what do you think? Should be able to get away w/ a relatively small wall on the delrin, 3/16 or so, so it increase the FB size little if any.

that should work, you may need aset screw to lock the delrin sleeve
