Vert ok for pump?

Hey guys, I have an 02 vert cocker I was thinking about making into a pump. Has anyone used a vertical feed pump? I am wondering should I sell this and try to get a right feed body, or just stick with what I have and get a pump kit. Any help would be great.

Matt

There's nothing wrong with a vert feed pump.
Go with what is comfortable with you, left, right or center.

It is harder to aim with a vert feed, though.
If you like it as a semi, it'll work fine as a pump.

Vert feed pumps are great. All the CCM ones are vert as well as the VSC phantoms being vertical feed for all practical reasons. It just takes a different way of aiming.

It does take a bit getting used to if you only used r/f pumps and all of a sudden you have this big hopper in your face where before you used to see what was in front of you.

Sheridan L/B --> P68-AT --> e-Sniper

It should be no problem.

It has worked out well for me so far with my 98 Gen-X CF that I converted.

And it's certainly not against any rules. Well, nothing other than the rules of fashion sense... Pics and movies of the pump speedball action out of California are full of vertical feed bodies.

Bear in mind that with the 2k plus ACs your not going to be able to efectivly run 12 grams.

I don't like vert feeds. I don't even like horizontal stock feeds on top of my gun. I like a nice, long stretch of bare barrel to sight down.

I have a vertical feed Sniper II I prefer right feed, but the vertical feed is growing on me, simply because if I have to use a hopper out the right side of a bunker, it's nice to be able to rotate my gun to hide it behind said bunker.
