Is my E2 sear noid dead?

On my e2 cocker, when i turn it on and turn the eyes off it will only dry fire like 3 times and then stop until I take the battery out and put it back in. Do you guys think its the battery( ive tried a couple different ones)or is my noid going bad?
thanks in advance for any help

Get a new battery, then test it. That or verify that the battery is at required
voltage.

Do not use a rechable battery also do not use a duracell battery they can fry the selonoid and board. cheap generic 9v are best ( procell are best if you can find them)

you may need to take the sear noid out and clean and polish it, I have had a couple where there was a bit of corrosion on the plunger.

Please expound on how you came to this conclusion and what is your source for information on this subject.

Scope... please re-read what I quoted and carefully note the BOLD print signifying what I was referring to.

Hmmmm... yet this can be found on the Eclipse site when searching technical support for E2 and battery.

15. How power efficient is E2?
In a continuous test (test marker firing one ball per second) we have experienced over 70,000 shots from a Duracell Procell 9 volt battery. We will continue to test other makes of battery pack and will publish official figures.

B, didn't you just say NOT to use a Duracell? Apparently more explanation IS needed.
