Dangerous Power G4 Bolt issue

Ok before I ship my brand new G4 back, Do you guys know of a good solution to the sticking bolt issue? I sent a email to DP tech but I know you guys are more on top of getting back to helping out. So any clean quality fixes or should I not even bother and just send it back? I tried to use it for the first time today but it would stick like every 2 or 3 shots. Sucked!!! My phantom is soooo much better. I thought I'd use an electro for my lazy feeling days but that G4 sucked. It does feel great, light and compact. Did make 2 eliminations though. Thanx again!

Not too familiar with DP but it sounds like lowering your dwell could help to relieve bolt stick, did that on my Clone and got rid of any bolt stick. Also if it's brand new try wiping the old lube off and relubing it.

Disassemble and remove stock DP40 lube, it is horrible.

Relube with Hatersauce or your favorite lube.

Relube with a lighter weight oil. Is the marker broken in?

Dwell in simplest terms is how long the solenoid is open. Takes a little bit of experimenting to find out what works best for you and your specific marker. the manual should tell how to adjust.

if it's a new marker, dont mess with the dwell, leave it stock. It sounds like the problem is with the lube you are using. If the lube you are putting into it is the stock dp lube, probably best to either mix some oil into it or find a different type (PE lube, sleek, hater, take your pick). The Dp lube is notorious for being crappy and thick. When you clean it out, make sure to clean off not just the bolt but the orings inside the body as well.

If that still doesnt fix your problem, there is a checklist of things you can do.

-Replace the battery
-Return board settings to stock (there should be a factory reset option in the manual, go ahead and do it)
-Up the FSDO (first shot drop off) setting by 1ms. Shoot the marker, if the problem persists raise it again)
-make sure you are Using higher than a 400 psi output tank (my 350 ninja reg didnt like my fiance's g4)
