Air America Armageddon Question

I picked up an Armageddon in a lot I got (specifically for it), but it appears to be setup incorrectly. This isn't entirely unexpected, but if anyone is familiar with these I wanted to double check myself.

On the piece that goes on the tank itself I believe the two holes on the side are output (one for burst disk and one for gauge) and the top hole is input (fill nipple). Does this sound right to anyone? (see top and right.jpg)

Also, if this is right, it appears that someone installed a burst disk in the top hole of the tank side piece. Any pointers on removing it? (see burst disk.jpg)

Thanks in advance... I'd love to get this reg. up and running.

Thanks!! RTFM I guess...

Still not sure how to remove that old burst disk that apparently is in the fill nipple's position.

ahhh i see it looks to be stuck. I recommend getting a xacto knife or dental pick and poking at it for awhile, eventually u might be able to get under it and pry it off. Just a warning, those old flat burst disks are hard to find so try and get it out without damaging it.

Thanks again. I will give that a whirl. I was planning on replacing it with a new-style burst disk... Is that a bad idea for some reason?

not a bad idea, just depends on if it will still screw into the reg with it on. The new ones are not flush. I run AA Apocalypse's and i wanted to convert them to 4500 systems but since the newer disks are not flush they wont slide on to the rail anymore. If you have an issue you might wanna look at this disk.

Guerrilla Air Pro Burst Disc - 7500psi

I was going to try one myself but just decided to keep mine at 3k. This might be the best solution if the standard burst disk doesn't work.

actually now looking at your picture, i assume its all the way screwed in. If thats the case you should be fine with the standard new style burst disks

No problem, good luck getting it up and running. Adjustable tanks are the best. Can be a pain but still be the best lol
