my tank never leaked I just notised when I was unscrewing it from my asa the reg was not moving even tho the bottle was, i stopped and retightened the bottle to the reg by screwing it back in to the asa very tightly and after doing this process 3 times it finally came off together. im just worried it may back off a bit and when i dive or get a bit aggressive it may take off on me and hurt someone. please advise on what you'd like as far as pics and i will do my best.

Was the tank low on air/empty? I would drain the tank pull out the reg and check the threads on both. If they look un-deformed, clean the threads out and screw it back together VERY hand tight. Of it you're a girly man use a strap wrench or something.

Strange indeed. I'm in the "hand tight" group so that regs may be swapped easily or taken off for air travel. I just always make sure to not remove the tank while it's gassed in to the marker.

Guerilla has had great customer service when I needed them. They sent me a new rebuild kit and some new springs so I could rid myself of that god awful *ping* from the regs

If they are pressurized beyond a few 100 lbs, they should not budge except with applied effort. I have no loctite on mine as I used to fly often and take the reg off. If you do remove your reg, dont rely on the guage being "0". I always bleed out the tank by removing a burst disc while having it purging through an open ended on/off as well.

If you have a hard time unscrewing your partial or full tank from your gun, chances are the asa or the tank threads themselves are worn out from improper handling or poor quality materials ie. soft alumium. If you are fighing against that, it is possible to unscew the reg from the tank by accident. Key tips to prevent this would be to buy a quality on/off asa with a bleed such as a CP and/or tank with decent threading such as Crossfire or PE. If you dont have a bleed, unscew the tank a quarter turn and shoot off the pressure being held in the line and guns HPR. The tank should then unthread easily from your asa.

If it keeps happening, loctite it. That's what I had to do for my tank.
