| Thick | Offset sight rail for centerfeed Blazer? Vivian has become quite proficient at 1-balling people with the help of the red dot sight on her right-feed Cocker. She's recently come into the Palmer's fold with the purchase of a nice Blazer from our good buddy Shon (Devilhead on POG). However it's a centerfeed, which we both dislike. I've seen offset sightrails on various mil-sim guns, where a rail hangs off the side 90* to the top rail, and this would be ideal to install a red dot on. Who carries these? And oh yeah I know, post pics. They can be found in the Paintball girl thread (or my gallery)

Basically, it will produce a visible dot on the back of that CF that might well (both eyes open) provide you guys with the scopeage you feel you need. I did that for a while before I finally got the idea of simply painting a red dot on the back of my CF. After a while, the dot rubbed off and I figured out how to sight down the side of the barrel sans aiming device. I think Viv just needs more practice.... preferably in a bikini and with a photographer nearby.

When I switched from a RF to CF Blazer that was one of my fears...that I wouldn't like the sight picture with the neck in the way. After one game of intense shooting those fears were put to bed, and many to the dead box. It's part of what makes a Blazer so friggin cool! |

| MCB Member | I agree with Drum. If you want a red dot on a center feed gun, then an occluded eye sight is the way to go. Armson sights are probably the best out there and will last stand up to some pretty significant abuse.

| Thick | I've used occluded sights in the past...somehow they always give me a headache. I knew I was going to get 'get used to centerfeed' comments. When you have a hot chick that absolutely loves to play paintball, you're inclined to give them what they want, equipment-wise.
