In the market for a new tank

I recently found a build your own tank on ANS website, Found here.

I was wondering which reg is a better choice, the Guerilla Myth or the Crossfire Stealth ? I am leaning towards the Crossfire based on the Myth horror stories I have read about in the past (mainly the cheap copied regs and the review on the website of it making noises after a period of use).

Definitely crossfire, myth isn't as consistent, but both of the reg's threads get beat up pretty fast

You're not going to go wrong with Ninja or Crossfire.

eh, $130 is awfully close to crossfire and ninja 68/4500 already. if you're dead set on it though, i'd go for the stealth reg myself, but there are better deals to be had. i would also consider a used tank; you can usually find ninja 68/4500 tanks made in '09 / '10 for $110-$120 shipped (some even include tank cover).

The new crossfire tanks have unlimited life to them. All you have to do is hydro them every 5 years.

is that true? does that apply to new tanks only or retro-actively to older tanks? i know it's only a matter of time before carbon tanks are approved for a lifespan longer than 15 years, but lifetime?

will look into it, but that's cool if it's true!
