Anno removal

Hey yal, Let me get your opinions on the best way to remove anno. Just from the outside. Thanks ahead of time.
Boy, the next words out of your mouth better be some brilliant Mark Twain S**t. Cuz it's definately gettin chisled on your tombstone.

Had it been a blind body and not blue I would of jumped on it like an eithiopian on a steak dinner.

I've used oven cleaner on a variety of guns with great results.
Other people have used draino, and lye. They all have the same active ingredient: Sodium Hydroxide.

I like oven cleaner since its generally pure NaOH, and mild in concentration. Only tiny amounts are needed. Just GO OUTSIDE, PUT ON RUBBER GLOVES, and spray. Wait a few minutes, rinse. Check on the anno, then spray, wait, rinse, repeat.

Once the anno is removed, polish if needed to a mirror finish.

I use Drano or any other type of unclogger. Masking tape has been enough to keep it out and off of places I didn't want it to touch. Just don't get any of that fancy oxygen stuff.
