Anyone have an idea on value? I wouldn't even know where to start to price this thing. Though I think It may wind up at the EMR museum. I never found one like it there.

So, Just heard back from nelson.

Hi Patrick:

Thanks for the inquiry and direction to the website. I was able to gather
some information with an employee who was familiar with the original Nelspot
produced in the late 1960s. They were improved over the years and that
other model was felt to be manufactured in the early 1990s (1992) through
Daisy. As far as pricing, I have no idea but there are many available on
E-bay.

A first glance it looks like a normal nelspot 007 but there are minor differences everywhere.

Note in the pictures the oddball is figured on top and the nelspot on the bottom.

https://sites.google.com/site/nelson...e/DSC02006.JPG

Top view: Rear sights are different.

https://sites.google.com/site/nelson...e/DSC02009.JPG

Side view: No plate between the tubes.

https://sites.google.com/site/nelson...e/DSC02010.JPG

Bottom view: The sear slot does not continue to the rear of the gun,
Instead there is a threaded hole to retain the valve (3 threaded set screw holes in all that wrap around the valve.

https://sites.google.com/site/nelson...e/DSC02012.JPG

Bolts and valves: Bolt has an extra long tube (Anti kink?). The valve is not tapped for either the 12 gram pierce or the retainer set screws. Instead the valve has 3recesses so the body can essentially clamp onto the valve using the already mentioned set screws. The 12 gram pierce is soldered into place and has no seal(though it does make a seal when aired up)

https://sites.google.com/site/nelson...e/DSC02015.JPG

Finally the frame: The nelson frame is hollow while the oddball is solid(possibly machined).

So.......What is it?

Editmore info)

The body does not have any weldment on either side and the sight rail appears to be too long to be a first gen.

Upon further inspection of the barrel it appears to be lined. It appears to be brass but I can't be sure from the angle I am looking at.

No date inside frame.

only the crossman frame that has the same markings and engravings as the nelson one.

.672 bore?!?!?!?!(caliper measured will verify with plug gauges at work tomorrow)

No markings on the top tube.
