let it soak over night, or longer in a bath of PB Blaster(not WD40) or something similar that works on rust. i wonder why no one suggested it in the first place. in fact you should have/could have done this before, and you might not have had the lug strip out on you. you could try a larger metric allen wrench and see if there is enough to catch what's left, but if its exposed enough, the dremel slot or an easy-out(my first choice) would be the best option. though make sure that the hammer is dry and the stuff you use to soak, is not combustible. would hate for you to melt or explode your hammer.
