Tall guy needs tac vest

Decided to go the molle tac vest route. Looking into the Dye tac vest, just wondering how adjustable it is for us taller brethern. I guess a basic review wouldn't hurt either. Also looking at the tippman. Any help would be, ummmmmm, helpful.

6'8". Wear a 1xl or 2xl shirt so not terribly fat. My torso is pretty long. I lost two inches of growth in my legs as a kid due to surgery so guess i got a 6'10" torso..

How much are you willing to spend? Do you want pods on the from or the back?

I am 6'1" but have a long torso and wear the WTF puller with LOTS of room for adjustment...

Pods on the back with the elastic ejectors is what I want. I want them low enough to be comfortable to grab. Most vests are just a little too high on my back. Using a harness has just never felt right to me. I also would like molle because I am starting to get into pistol play and having a vest that can carry mags on the front would be nice. Thats why I am looking at the dye tac. I can put on pods on the back, mags on the front with fs, water bladders, maps. You know all the scenario stuff, but be able to take it off for casual play. Good venting and durability is a must. Price, well, buy once cry once.

The reason I asked how tall your mid section was is vests list how long they are. I'd get one that goes down to your belt buckle however long that is. If not you're going to wind up with a belly vest haha.

"I'm not fat I'm big boned. Screw you guys, I'm going home."

Fitting around me has never been a problem, its the height thing. May have to have one custom made. Hope not, but it may come down to it.

A buddy of mine, who is around 6'6", uses a Valken Echo vest. I have one as well, and it fits me, 6', with lots of room to spare.

I know you didn't mention that in vests you were considering, but it might be worth a look.

Maybe a battle belt with a harness is an option?
