I don't know. I had my same pair since 2006. So that should be a testament to how well built they are.

I use a pair of Valken elbow/slider pads, but to be honest I wish they were thinner. They were the closest I could find to something in a camo color (everyone seemed to be out of the camo DYE ones when I was shopping for them). They are incredibly comfortable and don't really move around, though. Like I said, just wish they weren't quite so thick.

I use Planet Eclipse Overload (?) arm pads because of all the good reviews on them. They've done well so far, but if you're playing more casually you may want something less thick. The NXE ones are nice for that. Also, ANSgear has Angel ones for cheap, not sure how good they are.

wow those Valken ones look solid but yeah I dont want my hand to feel like its in a cast.

Elbow/forearm padding is so tricky.

This is good stuff, I was looking into a pair of fore arm pads also. I tried on the Planet Eclipse ones and they were very comfortable. I didn't feel like my arm was in a cast. I didn't buy them because I wanted to try on the Dye ones first.
