I don't see why someone who has actually taken an impact to a soft ear part would continue to use soft ear parts.

I've taken one in the ear. Went deaf for about a week.

I still wear soft ears. Hard ears are way too uncomfortable

Lol for real? Just use some of the ears discussed in this thread that aren't totally ridiculous. Or use the larger JT foam ears..same comfort + they have protection.

FSU Barn - are you soft ears attached at the bottom at all or are they attached to the frame, or where?

I do have the thicker aftermarket ones. I took it as all soft ears in general.

In that particular picture only the top screw's are attached, but generally I have both sets of screws in, Here's a pic.
