Sorry if this has been asked.

I have a cocker, and I want to stop getting rollouts.

I also don't want a barrel kit.

Lapco sells barrel sizer things, they screw into the back of your barrel.

They come in four sizes, .680, .683, .685, and .687 (or .689, can't remember)

Anyways, I want to just buy one for small paint, being that it isn't the whole length of the Barrel, I don't really have to worry about it being too snug.

But, I am not sure if I should go all the way down to .680

Would .683 be small enough for most paint, ir is it really getting that small these days?

Oppinions, bellyaches, rants all welcome in response, thank you.

Should be, but some brand-new DrAxxus or the like may still be a bit small.

I'm still a fan of the Python kit. Basically just a sizer with interchangeable sleeves.

I don't think most paint I have come accross has even been that small. I have not done any objective measurements, but I'd be surprised if you frequently come accross anything smaller than .685, although I may be behind the times.

I have three of those (.680,.683,.685) and some of the paint I have in the house rolls right through the smallest.

Python Paintball, Give Your Balls A Squeeze

Yes, paintball gets down to .680 these days.

I have the python kit and typically have to use either the .679 or the .682.

There's a zero dollar option too, I just use some electrical tape on my barrel. Two little pieces, one at 0 degrees and the other at 180 degrees, stops 99% of my rollout issues.

Not all barrels / bodies have the clearance for the tape solution.

I use my .679 AA on my cocker all the time, and I have gotten paint to roll out slightly on it.

Wow, so the .680 might be the one to get then.

Are there any other barrel sizers that are short like that?

Python looks nice.

I'd like to just get one for now, and see, Python seems to want you to commit to the whole system. What if I only need one size?

THat's why I liked the lapco solution $15 is pretty good if you ask me.

You could call python and ask if they can sell you just the one.
