I love how most companies only make knee pads in girls XS sizes... I guess bigger people don't slide or care about their knees.

They hold up well. The tops are covered in a sort if rubberized plastic and they are connected to the dense foam padding quite well. My favorite part is the elastic upoer strap. It allows my knee to articulate freely without pinching

i have and use the ones below, after a full day of dropping right on my knees, sliding I don't feel a thing. half way through the day or end of the day I see tons of guys that are barely walking around, saying knees are killing them. me I am feeling great and ready to keep going. for my money this is the best equipment I have ever gotten for paintball.

I always loved these ....and I've found them as cheap as 5$ each + shipping

Much nicer then any pb pad I've used and seems to move better
....

I even use them as elbow pads ....take a ton of bounces of them too

I've worn many over the years. I've found I really like the ones with plastic shells, like used by skaters, and BMX riders.

It allows me to slid right into a tree, or bunker, or building without hurting my knees.

and I'm not young anymore. When I was 18, I didn't care if I hurt myself.... because I knew I'd be back at 100% in no time. Things are different in my 40s. Sometimes I'll injure myself, and I never seem back at 100%, especially my knees.

i bought a pair about a year and a half ago, granted i usually wear them under my paintball pants, which also have padded knees, so far though, no complaints, they provide remarkable protection for how thin they are

and thus far, they have held up spectacularly

I've worn these for the last couple of years and they are the best kneepads I've had used. I also use the matching arm/elbow pads which are great too.

Based on your suggestions and reading up on them, I went out and bought a pair.

These are, bar none, the best kneepads I have ever tried. The other kneepads are something of a joke in comparison, particularly the paintball branded ones.

The only drawback is they might be a little on the delicate side to be worn out in the open the way I do, but if you wear pants over them, they should survive.

Definitely worth the money.
