Empire Sniper Question
My sniper is having some issues and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.
fresh o-rings last week (empire grease from a mini on o-rings)
SS pump guide
60ci/3000psi Ninja tank
Freak Kit (insert to match paint)
Op. pressure (210psi)
IVG (started all the way in and turned 2 full turns out)
FPS 270-277 (20 shots over the chronograph)
Shooting new Valkin paint (no dimples)
The marker is the most inaccurate marker I have ever shot. I have been playing for about 20 years and have shot everything on the market and this sniper is all over the place. Also having issues with double feeding or not feeding at all.
This is the second sniper I have owned and the first one was right on the money shot on shot, that is why I got this one after trading off the first one.
Any help would be great.

I agree about the paint, but also suggest checking the obvious stuff like ensuring your ball detents are in working order and the pump rod is set correctly. Might also inspect your feedneck for a flaw that would prevent the balls from entering the receiver.
Hope it starts working soon for you.

I second correcting the operating pressure. I would put it it at 250-300 psi to start off then adjust the IVG accordingly. The next thing I would check is if the pressure stays the same from shot to shot. A spread of 270-277 FPS is pretty good, so I don't think you should see a problem caused by regulator consistently. After that, I also agree on under boring or over boring your paint.
For feeding issues, in addition to checking the ball detents, check how far back the front of the bolt travels inside the breech at full pump stroke. If it's going too far back behind the feed neck opening, then you could get double feeds or jams. For misfeeds, if you are still getting them after you have corrected the IVG setting being too far in, make sure you are getting a full pump stroke without any sticking points.
