I would go with the first one, mainly because shmavistime seems to be a great guy, and I don't like the P68AT.
Now, if the guy would test this PMI-1 for you, I would also seriously consider that... unless you want the 15rd feed, then just go with a P-68sc.

There's an SC in that second one, scroll down more. Its item 8. And the seller contacted me that it's still available, so now I'm torn. lol This is gonna take some thinking.

They're both good people you'll just have to see where you can get the best deal.

i like the pmi-1 better than the p68sc. it has a shorter barrel, and that means more shots per 12gr.

even if the pmi-1 is untested, chances are it will only cost around $20 to fix it.

does the pmi-1 your looking at have a Speed Demon bolt or a standard bolt?

I believe it is a standard bolt but ill ask.

wouldnt a shorter barrel reduce accuracy and range slightly?

No. Accuracy and speed are built in the first 6-8 inches of barrel, so more barrel is just gravy.

Range has to do with velocity and weight of the projectile. A 3 gram paintball moving 300fps will always travel the same distance. Thus why there is no such thing as a true paintball sniper.

lol now someone finally puts that into perspective. I've been trying to explain the idea of there being no such thing as a sniper, but I've never been quite sure how to.

and thats interesting about the barrel length, ive never heard that before. interesting...

and the bolt is a speed demon btw, i just wonder what the difference is between the stock and the speed demon. I can see you guys are very in depth with these guns, more than I am, Im new to this stock class stuff. whats the diff in the bolts?

Stock bolts on PMI guns have a smaller inlet hole and have a harder pump stroke due to their bolt detentes.

Speed Demon bolts have a large inlet hole w/ a choke screw so you can bring velocity down a little. They have a lighter pump stroke due to their neato unlocking style of bolt detentes.

Basically: Speed Demon bolts 'pwn' stock bolts.

I have a speed demon, kicks the crap out of the stock bolt on a PGP, big time. And it is a lot easier to field-strip/quickly clean.
