pgp velocity

I have a PGP that runs all over the map. The first 10 shots are great but after that its horrible. I brought it out to a game and all the newbies were checking it out and dared me to just use it. I said heck yea man I aint scared! So I decided to play with it while the other 11 had timmys and spyders, etc. I snuck up around them and got 2 right off the bat but then I got smoked because of this problem of its air deffincy. Any thing I can do? I need to get more out of the 12 gram then I have been. Thanks guyz! much appreciated...

You could try replacing the springs, it seems the valve spring is worn out and is allowing too much air through the valve.

Make sure it isn't leaking. Put a 12g in there, fire one shot so it pierces the cartridge, and throw it in a bucket or tub of water to see if it's leaking from anywhere. If it's leaking air bubbles will be coming out of the area where it's leaking from.

First the simple things paint buy the best and make sure it has a good match to the bore. Next is cleanliness of the gun and proper lube. be sure the velocity adj is not in to far too much spring pressure as the 12g empty will cause all kind of fluctuations.
