Sl 68 Ii

My SL 68 II should be arriving next week; Will the stock SL feed work with a VL 200 or do I need some kind of elbow. Ive also noticed that the feed/elbow tends to be the part that seems break on SL 68s; what can I do to prevent this?

I looked around the tippmann website and I couldnt find the SL parts list. could someone PM me or post links to a place to buy the parts I need and place to buy so that I can ensure my SL lives longer.

I cant wait for my SL to arrive; the SL 68 is part of my back to basics paintball plan. I wanted a non flashy marker that i will go play every weekend with as opposed to constantly looking for various parts and upgrades with my pump cocker.

Tippmann SL-68 II Gun Diagram

PS you *might* find some parts from TippmannParts.com - SL-68 II Pump Gun

but your best bet will probably be to ask for parts from people here on MCB.

Tippman is down to pretty much just springs and Orings for them.

Yes you will need a "hopper adapter" to put a vl200 on one. Not an elbow per se, but a reducer. The vl200 wont fit into the feedneck. The only trick to keeping the feedneck from breaking is making sure the hopper fits properly. Folks try to either jam in to big of a hopper , or clamp the feedneck to tightly on to something too small. Avoid these pitfalls and the feedneck should be fine. there is a similar issue with the barrel pich bolt, so don't over tighten that either.
As was said, your best bet for parts in the wtb forum here.
Enjoy!
