Do they make?

Anyone know if they make carbon fiber half block bolts? Maybe even sleds? Link me if you can please. I'd appreciate any info, thanks.

I don't know if anyone makes them, but they probably would be a bad ideas. CF is light and structurally strong, but doesn't hold up well to friction.

Yeah, breathing in the little shards of Cf that it makes when sanded would be the same as crumbling up some asbestos and sniffing it.

Someone was making Delrin bodies at some point, with pressed in metal fittings for all the threaded connections.

^ Yeah that was turtle innovation...or something like that. Had turtle in it...I would pick one of those up if they were still in production and were milled a little less blocky.

But just curious, what does that have to do with the situation at hand, lol?

Don't know about Turtle Innovation, but I do know Ken at KP Customs made a few (5?) G-10 'cocker bodies.

Yes, it was Turtle Innovation that did the delrin bodies. But don't deal with Turtle. Great way to lose your money...

lol, I read "Carbon fiber half blocks" instead of "Carbon fiber half block bolts.

I though to myself "Of course they don't, how silly; But they did make delrin ones, and they were pretty light."

So in summary, I'm a moron.
