One quick question. Is the hammer backwards?

If it was backwards I don't think I could cock it...(Not trying to sound sarcastic)

i have a nasty houndstooth here for work, it sits in a bluestreak stock and when i first went to airtest it, the velocity adjuster was so far out balls didn't clear the barrel, i had to screw it in almost 10 full turns before it was shooting 285 or so...are you running a pps modded p-series frame with rva or a k-series? if it was converted to k-series it may need the aforementioned washer or t-pin guide...as for the valve, this one sports the angled through-drilled vent holes with grub-screws as well, i think the trouble is in the mainspring tension if you're getting air, just not enough

Yea It seems as though I am missing this pin or something as such could that be it? 'Cause after taking it apart I have not seen this thing once.

Any pictures of what it looks like?

It is just a regular NHT no stab or reg of any kind. It is getting air just fine just not firing...(for the lack of a better word) hard enough.

I replied to your PM. My vote is a bent cup seal pin (valve pin?) whatever the terminology might be.

A PPS pumper is so incredibly simple, mechanically. If there has been no change to the spring, the hammer is in correctly and there is air going in, then there has got to be a malfunction in the valve or some Oring bit is blocking the air somewhere between the air source and the paintball. It takes surprisingly little debris to foul up a air driven mechanism.

Swab it out, check your valve and call the shop.

Good luck,
D

Based on your reply to PM, I have a new vote for cause. Go find the velocity spring guide pin under the chair where you were working last. Install it and you will be fine.

I hope.

Not likely. Most of the pins I have seen were aluminum.
