| MCB Member | I donated mine to my job... its sitting on the historic gun wall rusting in peace. It never worked right ever. But.. The one I did manage to actually get working.. after ALOT of TLC and ALOT of tweaking last was known to be up in Vermont..

| MCB Member | Changing every oring... making my own cup seal and valve stem so it would dump more air out to recock the thing........ uhhhhh there was other stuff too. But its been many years since I did it and Ive lost track of my friend that I did it for. IIRC I did run a syphon tank on it too.

Case in point, the Gen-5 mag fed T68s were made by Tactmark, now Milsig, and not Qian Wei. Rap4 also sells rebranded airsoft gear such as grenade launchers and 40mm shells. Only some of this, like the 68 cal shells are rap4 innovations as far as I can tell.

| Stitching through Winter | I know Greywolf has one he was tweaking to get to work a few years ago. I think other projects and things demanded his attention more recently, but I doubt he has sold it- just backburnered it. I believe he remade some custom bolts, and had modified existing VM parts to make it work better. I don't think it was ever fully up to standard. He had a hilarious, yet fun write up of his progress on the old version of MCB. When I get home I'll paw through my email and see if I have a saved email about it too. I always thought they were insanely neat if one could be gotten going again.

| MCB Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Southern Maine | There are breakdowns here And basically yes, it is essentially a VM-68, with an extra "tube" for the 2nd barrel and bolt. ChinaPaintball used to also make a single-barrel VM-68 clone. Before the S4, I remember having a similar idea years ago like this: ![]() I had the idea that, if the "TURBO Hopper" can divert gas from the valve to power the hopper, why not make the hole larger, and divert enough gas to fire a 2nd paintball. Basically just chopping the breech off of 1 VM, and bolting it over the valve port on the 2nd VM. At least in theory. I though the idea was stupid until I saw that the S4 used pretty much the same idea. nick

| Post Whore | I see. so the side by side triple tube may be better for the design than the T configuration i had for my nasty spyder (inspired by the V twin and similar cocker based, and also engineered so that the striker doesnt have to be modded for the sled)

| MCB Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Southern Maine | I think either the T-style, or V-style setup has a flaw in that they both rely on a single hammer. Honestly, I think it is too much for the system to handle reliably. Some blowbacks work barrel with just the one bolt. This is difference for the Palmer Nastys, or Docs V-Twin which could simply beef up springs, and pneumatics to get the results they wanted. I've made dual Stingrays, which were literally 2 stingrays together ("H" style?). But thats not a very elegant solution.
