so the first pic jhyan posted makes me think that the gun must be tilted upwards to chamber the next ball

the second pic makes me realize just how bad my foot tastes...

i'm assuming these are schematics off working models?

and yes that bolt snipers custom does look real good... gonna have to give that a read through

The shotgun was supposed to have a spring feed, but I was too lazy to draw it.

Not based on working models... something I dreamt up while I should have been working

If anyone wants to build them, and my crazy drawings help, I'd love to see them become a reality, since I have neither the time, nor money, nor equipment to realize them.

I will take a pic of the shotgun when I get home and post it up, I think it will work as an under cocking bolt action

I've actually been working along those same lines for over a year now.

The equipment is a beyatch...I had access to a full machine shop for years before the owner died. Then I found myself high and dry. I had to go out and buy a mill and a lathe before I could even start lol.

Not necessarily, not if you start from scratch and put the tubes together yourself. A bit staggered from where they are now. Have a short tube underneath with the hammer and valve then a small break and then the spring feed in a separate tube. At least, those are my first thoughts.

Its not something that would be hard to do on the right format. As mentioned above many of us have kicked around the idea but havent moved on it.

I think a nelson would be extremely easy for the adaptation. The only PITA being the sear/trigger mechanism. I have everything solved on paper but lack the time to dedicate to it with all the other projects and customer stuff I have. Maybe this summer I could get something built.
