| MCB Member Join Date: Oct 2007 | Take your old barrel and screw it all the way in, then put a piece of tape on it to mark how far it goes in. Then transfer that measurement to the Frantom and see if it is threading all the way in. I found that the older bodies won't accept the new Frantom barrels. WWW offered me a new body at cost or to send mine in for an exchange. The new threads are .015" larger which is good for strength but bad if you have an older body.

Comparing the threads i've noticed that the threads on my older barrels on both phantoms are a bit smaller than on the Frantom. Time for a new body i guess? I've been meaning to get one anyway! |
