Apex Barrel Question

I have a few questions about the Apex barrel, here they are:

-Can you put an apex on any kind of barrel?

-Will an apex fit on my Pro/Carbine? It has a JJ barrel.

Thank you in advance!

No you will need an adapter or a barrel specifically made for an apex. Palmers makes and adapter for their barrels and Lapco makes a barrel for use with an apex. Not sure if there are others out there.

The apex barrel is available in the following threads; Model98, A5 (same as Pro-Carbine), Spyder, Ion, and Autococker.

SP also makes a Freak front that can take the apex front.

The Palmer's adaptor fits on the J&J barrel (similar outer diameter to a Palmer's barrel). There's a few home mods as well, though I can't vouch for their effectiveness.

There's also some DIY how-to guides on how put the Apex tip on any barrel. Do some googling and you're bound to find one.

I made an adapter out of black electrical tape, it worked very well.
