Alright, what is this thing?

I asked this in the WDP forum and havent gotten anything yet, so I'm opening up the viewer audience.

No pictures as of yet, I cannot find my camera.

Any ways, I got a Angel Speed 2004 in the mail yesterday. Afting stripping it of parts needed for my LCD, I decided to clean up what was left. Now, when it got here I noticed it, but wasnt sure what it did. However, on the beech cover there is a serial port, three prongs. I dont know what it does but after finally getting the solenoid out.(Its Fubar'd, the whole top is scratched, pitted, and bent.) to find the port is held into place via a large amount of hot glue. I cant get the back plate off as of now because my allen kit is woefully sorry as of now. However, I can see two wire leads going down into the body, they must be going to the battery as thats all there is there, aside from the solenoid, which I reasonably sure it is not attached to it. Could this be a home brewed intellifeed? Thats all I can guess as to what it is at this time.

EDIT: I just managed to get it opened and discovered that most of the wire were disconnected and most were forced into the battery chamber. I still do not know what the port did, but I managed to get the battery and solenoid out,the red lead to from the battery has been cut in half, I'm assuming thats where the port was connected, if that helps any.

Probably for an Intellifeed. There was a cable that ran to your hopper that make it turn with every shot.
