| Post Whore Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Arkansas | Custom CCM pump plate? I was thinking about attempting my own CCM pump plate for my S5, with a Hitman mod and possibly dual rods, the works. I just had a few questions about it and some of the tools and such. 1. How long would the pump rod threading need to be to keep a good hold and not strip easily? I'm thinking 4-5 threads, and at 10-32 that would be about 1/8"(a little less). Does this sound about right? I know the stock one is pretty thick, but the S6 pump plate is way thinner. 2. Could I get sheetmetal anodized or is it too low of a grade of aluminum or something? Would I be better off getting a block of aluminum from Harbor Freight or something? 3. Some of the holes have a chamfer(countersink) on them, how would I go about doing that? Would I have to buy a special bit or something? Thanks!
