HPA tank reg removal?

I have a recently-hydro'ed Nitro Duck tank w/ a dead reg, and a Crossfire tank that's chipped (condemned) but the reg is fine. I'd like to put the Crossfire reg on the ND tank. My question is how the hell do I get the thing off?

I took them to PPS and Glenn told me they have no means of securing the tank without clamping it down in a vise and possibly cracking the carbon fiber.

What's the safest way of getting the reg off a good tank without damaging it?

I normally just put my tanks in a "head lock" sorta hold and use a proper wrench to get the reg off.. It works for me most of the time..

Other times I take said big *** wrench and put in on the reg so when I put it on the table all the force would be on the wrench.. Then I use a strap wrench or my own brute force to get the bottle off..

But.. hmm you may be screwed with both methods unless your regs have wrench flats..
