Once I thought of a loader I called the UFO. It would make your gun with vertical feed look like the USS Enterprise. Horiztontally aligned drum. Imagine a cookie tin sitting on top of your feed neck. Inside, along the edge, would be the paintballs in a circle. A hole would be in the bottom near the edge, over the feed neck. Over this hole, internally, would be a parabolic feed plug I'd epoxy/JB to the lid of said cookie tin. There would be a post soldered in the very middle of this tin, vertically, around which would be wrapped a single .75" tall sliver of springy aluminum sheet (.015 thick or so). This extends to the wall, behind the last ball. This would gently encourage balls around the inner wall of the tin, and finally into the parabolic feed plug, down the hole. This would present very little frontal area to your opponents, and I think any of us could rig one up if we had a free weekend. ![]() Hope I was clear- Steve

You could use a Halo B to make a horizontal drum magazine without all that much trouble. The horizontal drum would just replace the body of the hopper. For a vertical drum, I have thought a Cyclone feed could replace the spring. This would partially alleviate some of the problems that would be caused by the pressure put on the balls by the spring that would drive the drum. custar |

Weltman has pics of both guns i am sure i will get him to dig them up. the DRUM SMG needed to come home with use BAD but it wound up on display at Tippmann. the destroyer well i guess i could have distracted the Owner with PORN ( his collection of pics of his head between stripper Tig O'Bitties was HUGE) and weltman could have RAN but or escape vehical was a full size school bus so we couldn't run very fast. |

Steven.... The drum/pan loader I came up with last fall was for a lewis gun built around a vm ... the drums were going to be made of aluminum cake pans. I had all my references and parts together when the poop hit the fan with my marriage and in the purge I got rid of a lot of it.... Oh well. E |
