Sniper 2 HP springing

What's the deal with springing snipers for high pressure (straight CO2)? Can you use any valve or does it have to have a high pressure specific valve? How do you convert snipers to high pressure?

Stock valve and cup seal ( this is the weakest link in LP) shave the stem for flow. Change springs until you reach your desired velocity.

Stock valve with a red (or heavier) valve spring and the weakest main to achieve field velocity (which may be a red).
